Owner, Kiyomi Schulz, opened the doors of Kiyo Salon. Starting out as a 3 chair Salon with no receptionist, Kiyo Salon has done nothing but grow and succeed since its creation.
Kiyomi saw a need for a spa in Nanaimo, and expanded Kiyo Salon into Kiyo Salon & Day Spa; building treatment rooms and offering quality spa treatments and products.
After months of careful location analysis, Kiyomi saw a need for a second location in Parkville. Previously named Mi by Kiyo, now Kiyo Salon & Boutique, opened its doors and has never looked back.
The itch to open a Boutique in Parksville came to fruition. With the careful addition of select jewellery and hair accessories, the boutique has taken off to carry full lines of clothing, accessories and jewellery, all sourced by Kiyomi herself.
Newly branded House of Kiyo now employs a team of over 30 dedicated employees; including a management team, front desk team, assistants, estheticians and of course, our roots, a talented stylist team with a hunger for education and growth.
To be continued;)
