How many Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy treatments are necessary?
Depending on the severity of the sun damage or pigmentation of the skin most patients have 3 to 6 treatments performed; this will include darkened spots flaking or falling off, a decrease in diffuse redness and an improvement in mottled complexion. Maintenance treatments can then be performed once or twice a year. Patients may experience a mild pinch or stinging sensation with the pulse of the light, but this will quickly diminish with the treatment ends.
What are the time intervals between Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy treatments?
The interval between IPL treatments is at least 4 weeks.

What is Laser Spider Vein Therapy?
Either on your face or body, we can treat a broad range of vessels from spider veins to deep blue reticular veins quickly, safely, and effectively. Although perfect for all skin tones, the number of treatments depends on the number, color, and size of the vessels being treated.
How does Laser Spider Vein Therapy work?
The TruPulse Nd:YAG delivers pulses of light energy which causes blood within the vein to coagulate which eventually destroys the vessel. Blood flow will be redirected to veins deeper below the skin’s surface where it should be.
How many Laser Spider Vein Therapy treatments are necessary?
Most patients find that the majority of the treated veins show significant improvement within 2 to 6 weeks of treatment. Final results may not be apparent for several months and more treatments may be needed. Larger reticular vessels may take longer to resolve and may need multiple treatments.

What is Laser Hair Removal?
If you are tired of shaving or waxing Laser Hair Removal may be the perfect option. It is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures in Canada. We offer 2 different hand pieces for fast hair removal treatments. With either the Prowave LX or the Coolglide Nd:YAG, we can customize the best treatment to accommodate the area. These treatments are perfect for any area on the body, for lighter and finer hair, and for all skin pigment types.
How does Laser Hair Removal work?
The laser is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. The energy produced by the laser is converted to heat which damages the hair follicles. The hair follicle is what produces hair and so by damaging the hair follicle there is a permanent decrease in hair growth.
How many treatments of Laser Hair Removal are necessary?
Only ‘active’ hair follicles are affected by a Laser Hair Removal treatment, and not all hair follicles are ‘active’ at the same time. Therefore, multiple treatments are necessary. The average number of treatments is 5 to 8.
What are the time intervals between Laser Hair Removal treatments?
For facial hair the time interval between treatments is 6 to 8 weeks. For body hair the time interval between treatments is 8 to 10 weeks. For back or leg hair the time interval between treatments is 10 to 12 weeks.
What is 2D Skin Revitalize Therapy
This is the combination of Laser Genesis and LimeLight IPL treatments in one session. Each procedure provides an effective solution to a single concern but when combined the Revitalize Therapy approach provides synergistic results in fewer treatments. Most patients perform 2 to 6 treatments to see desired results and will notice improvements in as early as 2 to 4 weeks with improvements continuing for several months.

If you are a modest person, a bikini bottom and/or top are recommended for your comfort. Treatments involve rinsing in our private shower, so you may want to bring hair products or make-up for any touch-ups or reapplication.
These are perfect for those who have straight or downward facing natural lashes, giving your eyes and face an instant lift. Using your own lashes, they are permed against a silicon pad to give them a natural looking “lift”. A wonderful alternative to the lash curlers. Those with light coloured lashes we recommend a lash tint at the same time to really enhance the end result.

What is Microblading?
Microblading is a procedure we offer under permanent makeup that is considered semi-permanent and less invasive. This procedure uses a hand tool with sterile, precise needles to gently etch natural and realistic looking “hairs” into your skin by implanting pigment beneath the surface of the skin. Microblading can correct or reconstruct lost eyebrow shape and structure and is perfect for those who want to enhance their thinning, aging, or over tweezed eyebrows. Pigments are selected based on skin tone and desired brow colour.
How long does the eyebrow last?
This will typically last around 1-2 years depending on age (mature/young skin) and skin type (normal/dry/oily) as each clients individual colour retention will vary. Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, which means that the pigment isn’t being deposited into the skin as deep as a traditional tattoo and will naturally fade over time. Skincare routines also affect the length of the pigment. Clients who tan or use products with Glycolic Acid will fade faster due to constant skin resurfacing. To maintain colour richness, a touch up is advised every 12 months after the initial procedure.
How long does the procedure take?
The initial session is approximately 2.5 hours. During this, your brow technician will design and shape the your eyebrows for approval. Once both parties are satisfied with the result, the pigment colour is selected and the procedure begins.
The follow-up session is required for minor touch up and colour retention and should be 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure. This session will take about 1-1.5 hours. **The brows are not considered ‘finished’ without the 2nd touch up appointment. **
Who shouldn’t have this procedure done?
Microblading isn’t suitable for everyone so please refrain from having this procedure if:
– Using Accutane or any strong retinoids must be stopped 6 months prior to the procedure.
– Have had Botox or fillers within the last 2 months (If you maintain with Botox consistently, you are ok)
– Have gotten a deep tan or a chemical peel in the last 2 weeks.
– Allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, or epinephrine.
– Have keloids.
– Have skin with moles or skin cancer.
Clients should consult your physician first before having this procedure if:
– Pregnant or nursing
– Have diabetes
– Have a heart condition, pacemaker, or using heart medications.
– Have a skin disease or irritation.
*We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we deem not suitable for this procedure for any other reason. Our brow technicians make the decision to microblade an individual based on their own discretion.
Do I need to shave off my existing eyebrows?
Absolutely NOT! Please do not wax, thread, tweeze, or modify for about 2 weeks before the procedure. This is to allow the brow technician to design the most natural looking eyebrow for your face. You may resume your regular brow maintenance once the brows have healed.
Does it hurt?
In most clients discomfort is minimal due to the use of the most effective topical anesthetics available which provide nearly total numbing of the entire area involved.

After the eyebrow treatment there is no downtime at all. People with very sensitive skin may have a little redness around the brow area, however the redness should subside within 2-3 hours.
